Course Description
Based off the work of theorist William Mouton Maston, the DiSC profile is one of the most widely used personality-based assessments in the world. The assessment is based on the DISC theory of personality, which themes individuals into four main styles: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness. This workshop is designed to provide participants with a deeper understanding of their personality traits and application for healthy communication and teamwork. Topics in this course will include an overview of Wiley’s DiSC model, interpretation of personal tendencies, and strategies for effective communication with others. Includes Everything DiSC Workplace Profile and Online Catalyst Platform.
Result
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to describe their own and their team members’ DiSC styles and preferences. Participants will also be able to compare their style and preferences with team members and determine more effective approaches for communication. Finally, participants will analyze current work situations and determine new strategies for a more holistic communication approach.
